The SNP’s proposed question for the referendum on Scottish independence has been judged by many to be unfair, referring as it does to the loaded political concepts of “Scotland” and “independence” .
I have just received news that agreement is settling around a fairer form of words that the No campaign, the Westminster government and political commentators feel more comfortable with.
Here is the fair question:
The leader of the No campaign, Mr [NAME TO BE DECIDED] commented: “It doesn’t really matter what I say as I’ll get a really easy ride from the media anyway. Hey, Alex Salmond won a democratic election with a massive mandate so he's just like a brutal, murderous dictator, in't he?”
