The Power Lunch Club managed to pull off something of a coup this month when a senior executive from Microsoft came to speak at one of its meetings in Edinburgh.
Jacob Jaffe is currently head of business for Microsoft Office Division in the UK, but until three years ago he was director of marketing for the company in the USA and led a worldwide marketing team for the Microsoft Office programs.
He was in Scotland to talk about the growth of cloud computing and its potential to help business productivity. It was even more of a coup because Jaffe openly admits that he has seldom managed to get out of London since relocating here in 2009.
