Interface, the organisation that bridges the gap between business and academia, is extending its reach into Scotland's business community.
Founded five years ago, Interface describes itself as “The Knowledge Connection for Business”, and has now worked with over 800 companies. The idea is simple. The organisation works with businesses and matches then with academics from all of Scotland’s universities and research institutions, making world-class knowledge, expertise and research facilities available to them. It’s a free and impartial service bringing significant business benefits.
Director Dr Siobhan Jordan described the wide range of companies Interface had already helped.
